todas y todos los hermanos indígenas y no indígenas que apoyaron el llamado de
Tonatierra, Maya Visión y Centro Cultural Techantit sobre el tema Desmantelando
las Doctrinas del Descubrimiento realizado en Phoenix Arizona durante los días
19,20 y 21 de Abril 2013.
Queremos reiterarles nuestra gratitud, respeto y solidaridad, por su asistencia y valiosos insumos aportados a través de sus intervenciones respecto al tema. Nos estimula el espíritu de lucha al mismo tiempo nos motiva renovar los esfuerzos necesarios para sacudir las cadenas de esclavitud territorial, político, económico y cultural del cual fuimos víctimas desde el mismo día que nuestro continente fue invadido, colonizado, militarizado y saqueado hasta los tiempos actuales.
Esperamos que cada uno de los asistentes haya podido compartir con sus familias, pueblos y naciones el mensaje de esperanza recogido y reafirmado desde el encuentro de Arizona. Es nuestro reto desmantelar las doctrinas del descubrimiento al mismo tiempo luchar contra la neo colonización que amenaza nuestras vidas.
Porque
no podemos quedarnos callados ante la criminalización y persecución de personas
y pueblos que reclaman su derecho
a la libre determinación así mismo se niegan a morir bajo las botas de
gobiernos y militares que imponen las industrias extractivas que llegan a
saquear los últimos recursos naturales que se han conservado en nuestros
territorios indígenas.
Así que los invitamos a seguir fortaleciendo la comunicación y trabajar comprometidos al reto de conseguir que se implementen los instrumentos internacionales que nos protegen como pueblos indígenas (convenio 169 de la OIT, Declaración de Los Derechos de Los Pueblos Indígenas proclamada en la ONU). Al mismo tiempo ir regenerando y fortaleciendo nuestros consejos tradicionales de autoridades ancestrales porque de sus experiencias podremos conseguir la sabiduría necesaria para la instalación de un tribunal indígena donde se puedan conocer y juzgar los crímenes que se han cometido y siguen cometiendo contra nuestra gente.
Debe ser una obligación moral para los pueblos originarios recuperar el respeto a nuestra dignidad de personas, trabajar para que las futuras generaciones puedan vivir libres de la imposición colonial que por hoy ha tomado forma de malas copias de gobiernos euro centristas llenos de corrupción que en vez de gobernar por el bien de sus pueblos trabajan para las corporaciones criminales que llegan a sustraer los recursos naturales llevando destrucción, contaminación y muerte.

call of Tonatierra, Maya Vision and Cultural Center Techantit to attend the Dismantling the Doctrine of Discovery International Conference in Phoenix, Arizona
during the days 19,20 and April 21, 2013: We reiterate our gratitude, respect and solidarity for your assistance and valuable input provided through interventions on the issues. We are encouraged by the spirit of struggle which at the same time motivates us to renew our efforts to shake off the chains of slavery in terms of our territorial, political, economic and cultural ways of life, which we endured from the day that our continent was invaded, colonized and plundered militarized until the current times.
We hope that each of the attendees will be able to share with their families, peoples and nations the message of hope which was reaffirmed collectively at the encounter in Arizona. Our challenge is to dismantle the doctrines of discovery while simultaneously fighting the neo-colonization that threatens our lives. We can not remain silent about the criminalization and persecution of individuals and peoples who claim their right to self-determination likewise refuse to die under the boots of military governments imposing agreements with extractive industries who plunder the last natural resources have preserved our indigenous territories.
And so we invite you to further strengthen our communication strategies and work together committed to the challenge of implementing the international instruments that protect us as Indigenous Peoples such as ILO Convention 169, and the UN Declaration of Rights of Indigenous Peoples. At the same time qwe shall regenerate and strengthen our traditional councils of ancestral authorities because with their experience we shall aquire the wisdom necessary to install an Indigenous Tribunal tribal in order to address and judge the crimes which have been committed and continue to be committed against our peoples.
It should be a moral obligation to recuperate the respect for our indigenous peoples dignity as persons working for the future generations that may live free from the colonial imposition that has at present taken the form of bad copies of Euro-centrist governments, full of corruption who instead of governing for the good of their peoples work for the benefit of private corporations, criminals who come to steal our natural resources while bringing destruction, pollution and death.
